Our attention is always engaged by something, something that we need to deal with, so we very rarely take the trouble of looking into ourself. Still, if we were able to concentrate our attention on ourselves, that brief moment of alert Consciousness would be enough for us to recognize that the alert Consciousness, free of emotions and thoughts is our true inner nature. In the state of alert Consciousness thoughts will no longer keep our attention in captivity, and we may experience silence. In the alert silence we recognize the following truths:

The Effortless Meditation
Meditation is a subtle, barely perceptible stream,
in which you will experience a radical shift of the center of gravity. The
manifestation, limited in time and space, thick and heavy, that you have
formerly regarded as yourself, changes into a weightless but ubiquitous point
without limits and dimensions. The massive creature, bound to the earth that
used to be you, is now free from its bonds and begins to soar.

to effortless Meditation

10 Keys to Raise Spiritually Strong Children
In our life most of us have experienced one or two
mysterious encounters, when visitors come to us from the unknown.
These special guests are in fact our own children. We love them, and we are
happy that they are here, but most of us do not accept them the way we should.
They do not receive from us the deep respect and awe that wanderers who come
from the depths of
the Universe duly deserve. Instead, we look upon our children
as if they were our own property, and we try to condition them to become adults
we will be able to be proud of. Are we really good hosts for these visitors, is
this really the way we should receive our guests?

children

7 Life Changing Lessons About Conscious Alertness
Alertness is, not identical with being awake, since
being awake is only one dimension of Alertness. It is the outermost dimension
of Alertness, its surface only.
Three dimensions of Alertness may be
identified. The surface, that is, the outermost dimension of Alertness is when
the focus of attention is open the widest. Being Alert then means that now, in
this very moment, with our eyes closed (or open) you pay attention to the
processes of your inner world (bodily sensations, the stream of your thoughts,
the shifting of your emotions), and the external world surrounding you (noises,
scents etc. from the direct world around you). In such an instant you only
focus your attention on what takes place in that very moment.

How We Create Our Own Spiritual Growth
During our spiritual Journey we accumulate a vast amount of knowledge of the world. From the books read, lectures heard and conversations we try to pick the useful and interesting bits of information, ideas, thoughts and theories.
We attempt to make an image of reality from the accumulated spiritual knowledge and experience, trying to create the mosaic image of Truth.
Our mosaic image of “Truth” is realized as a spiritual scenario in our daily life. There may be a number of selfish motivations behind the hunger for experience and quest for completeness, but the spiritual scenarios are rather standard, so they contain lots of similar elements. Let us see a few of these:

What is Our Highest Purpose?
Allow me to draw your attention to an apparently surprising thing. If I told you that now, when you are reading these lines, you are in fact asleep, you would certainly believe that I have gone mad.
Your are awake, you are concentrating your attention to reading, and you are aware of your environment as well. You can see the furniture of your room, you can hear the call of the birds from the nearby forest. You are also aware of your thoughts and emotions, too. How can anyone claim that you are asleep in this very moment?
Naturally, you, just as everyone else, sleep at night, and yes, sometimes you see dreams while you sleep. But now it is daytime, you are awake, so how could you see dreams?

16 Things You Need to Know about the Human Mind
Human Mind is a wonderful masterpiece that has immense potentials. Most of the potentials, however, remain unused at most people, since it is not us who are in charge of things, but the Mind takes control of us.
In order to control something, we first need
to know the thing concerned¸ so we must know the Mind so as to be in charge of it.
What need we know about the human Mind?

12 Keys to Access the Deeper Dimensions of Life
Our whole life
is a rush. We chase our desires and unfulfilled dreams. We are attracted by
money, power, prestige, a wholesome, happy life. Spurred by our ambitions, we
pursue various goals all through our lives. We aspire for something all the time,
we always want to achieve something.
This restless rush is instigated by our fear that we are still not what we want to be. We are never satisfied, we always want something else. We therefore lose our grip on the deeper dimensions of life. The deeper dimensions are present in our life, but we lose contact with them because of our lack of Alertness. The question therefore arises, how we are able to access the deeper dimensions of Life?

24 Keys to Transcend the Ego
The Ego is the central figure of our personal history, based upon the past and
looking into the future. It is a dissatisfied, possessive small ego that often
makes our life a misery. It is for certain that this small ego–or, more
precisely, what we believe is our Self, our Ego–coiled up tightly in the back
of our mind, is responsible for a tremendous amount of senseless and
unnecessary suffering and destruction in the history of mankind.
On our
spiritual Journey arises the question, how we transcend the Ego?
Here are 24 Keys to transcend the Ego
